OPERATIONS SOFTWARE · UTAH
One system, instead of five that don't talk.
Jobs, crews, approvals, reporting and the integrations that keep your money straight — in one place, built around how your business already works. Scoped and priced before any code exists, and yours outright when it ships.
01WHY THE FIVE-APP SETUP HURTS
Nobody goes shopping for custom software.
They go looking for a way to stop losing jobs between handoffs and stop rebuilding the same report from four exports. QuickBooks for invoicing, a spreadsheet for jobs, a group text for the crew, email for clients — none of it syncs, so a person becomes the sync. That person is usually you, on a Sunday. Custom software is worth it exactly when the coordination cost is bigger than the build cost, and not a minute before.
The same number gets typed three times
Once in the field, once in the spreadsheet, once in QuickBooks. Every retype is a chance to be wrong, and nobody bills for the hour it took.
Job status lives in someone's inbox
The honest answer to where's that job is ask whoever's on it. That's fine at four jobs a week. It falls apart at forty.
Monday is spent rebuilding the report
Two hours of copy-paste to answer questions your data already contains, and the answer is stale by the time anyone reads it.
The software bill grows when you hire
Per-seat pricing across four platforms means every new hire raises your fixed costs before they've produced a dollar of work.
02WHAT YOU GET
What a V1 hub actually includes.
Job and task tracking
One record per job with your stages and your terminology — not a vendor's idea of what a job looks like. Created once, visible to everyone who needs it.
Crew assignment and scheduling
Assign people to jobs and days, see who's overloaded before the week starts, and handle the reschedules that actually happen.
Role-based access
Owners see margin. Office staff see billing and scheduling. Crews see today. Each role gets the screen that helps them rather than a locked-down copy of yours.
Reporting built to your definitions
Job profitability, hours logged, what's sitting unbilled — built from the questions you already ask in every standup, and live rather than compiled.
QuickBooks, Stripe and payroll integrations
Two-way sync with QuickBooks Online or Xero so a finished job becomes an invoice and payment status flows back. If it has an API, it can be wired in.
A client portal when it earns its place
Clients log in for status, documents and invoices instead of emailing your staff. Scoped into V1 only if the email volume justifies it.
Your existing data, migrated
Customers, job history and open work come across from spreadsheets or an export. Agreed during scoping so launch day isn't a surprise.
Ownership and a written warranty
Source code, database and infrastructure config are yours on final payment, with up to 150 days of bug warranty. No per-seat license, no subscription to keep it running.

04STRAIGHT ANSWERS
Questions people actually ask.
From $25,000, with most V1 builds landing between $25,000 and $65,000. The bottom of that range buys a genuine working system for one core workflow; the top adds a mobile app, accounting integrations, a client portal and roles with an audit trail. Scope, timeline and price are written down — including what is deliberately not in V1 — before any code exists.
Those tools make you describe your business in their vocabulary. Custom software uses yours — your job stages, your approval rules, your reporting definitions, and the edge cases your team currently works around with a side spreadsheet. The tell is simple: if people maintain a spreadsheet next to the software you already pay for, the software isn't fitting.
Yes, and it usually should. Two-way QuickBooks Online and Xero sync is the most common integration I build, followed by Stripe and payroll platforms. Anything with an API can be connected, and integrations get scoped into V1 when they're the thing causing the double entry.
No — that's the normal starting point. Most people arrive with five spreadsheets and a sentence about what's broken, not a requirements document. Discovery turns that into a defined V1 with a number attached, and you see the whole thing in writing before you decide anything.
Then buy it, and I'll say so on the first call. If Jobber, Housecall Pro or ServiceTitan matches how you already work, they'll be live next week for a fraction of a build, and I'd rather lose the invoice than sell you a system you didn't need. Custom wins when the tool fights you, not when it fits.
V1 is built modular so extending it is cheap rather than a rewrite. Bugs are covered for up to 150 days at no charge, and new features after that are scoped and quoted like any other work. If you'd rather have someone on hand permanently, a managed retainer gets you feature work at a reduced rate.
